HAWKER PRYM1

MEDIA LAUNCH

INTO THE WOODLANDS.

MEDIA JOURNALISTS/SOCIAL INFLUENCERS TEST OUT THE NEW HAWKER PRYM1 SUIT.

The 13th-17th May marked the week-long media event of Seeland's new 'Hawker Prym1 Woodlands' suit launch, together with event partners, Hornady AmmunitionJ. P. Sauer & Sohn, Leupold Optics and Prym1 Camo. Across the week, hosted by outfitter Cervus-UK, global media journalists/social influencers had the chance to test the new clothing range, hunting Roebucks and Muntjac in the rolling Hampshire Downs - open landscape of rolling farmland, divided by blocks of ancient woodland - the ideal ground for testing our Prym1 Woodlands pattern to it's core.

HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT.

WE MANAGED TO CATCH UP WITH JAKT & FISKE MAGAZINE'S FEEDBACK.

"As for The Seeland Hawker Prym1 hunting suit, I enjoyed wearing it in the field. The first morning I was out with Rod, Cervus-UK guide, and he guided me quietly through the beautiful spring forest, gently pointing out various birds and animals that we came across. He also commented on the forestry and conservation issues in the area in an educating way. As we approached an opening in the bushes into a large field, he made me aware of two roe deer browsing in the margin of the farmland about 30 yards ahead. The wind was good, but I could not get a clear shot at the trophy buck."...

"As I worked my way gradually out in the open to get a free bullet path, both animals became aware of us. Opposed to what I expected, they did not flee, but instead stepped out in the open to get a better view. I did not waste my chance, and I could not avoid thinking that the Prym1 Woodlands pattern actually prevented them from getting the human shape of our appearance, and finally secured the trophy."

AN ADAPTABLE PATTERN.

DOM HOLTAM, CHIEF EDITOR OF RIFLE SHOOTER MAGAZINE, GIVES HIS TWO CENTS.

"Having seen it (The Prym1 Hawker suit in the Prym1 Woodlands pattern) now in loads of  different environments, the open down lands, moving along the hedge rows and deep in the woods, it's been really good - so, it seems like it's a good adaptable pattern! It's certainly been attractive to the (Roe) does tonight, we've been stood here literally surrounded by deer - it definitely get's our seal of approval! [Extract from captured video footage].

Whilst the journalists had the time to put the new Hawker Prym1 suit/pattern to the test live in the field, we felt this media event hosted by SeelandCervus-UK was truly unique, utilising the various forms of what we hunters do; practicing on the range, the hunt itself, the wild harvest/butchery whilst also focusing on the enjoyment of cooking game and the incredible taste that goes with it…

Over two days, the journalists and partners were treated to a very personal masterclass with both Antony Coates (Coates Butchers) and former Michelin star Chef, Pascal Proyart (Chef Pascal) together showing the full process from skinned Roe carcass, the butchery and obtaining the right cuts of meat, to creating incredible wild gastronomic dishes!
